Gardener's Cottage once housed the Head Gardener, the Coachman and the Coach House for the estate, in a Victorian conversion of a 17th century barn.
|
The buildings have since been amalgamated to make a very pleasant and spacious cottage with large windows. Set in a landscaped garden with lawns and flowerbeds, it provides the perfect base for a comfortable, peaceful holiday. |

| There are four double bedrooms and three bathrooms, two of which are en-suite. One of the en-suite bedrooms is in the newly restored, attractive stone-built garden annexe, known as 'Blandings'. Linked to the main cottage by a well-lit lavender-lined pathway, which gives it additional privacy and peace, the annexe is self-sufficient and can sometimes be let in the low season, when Gardener's is not in use, as a low-cost, quiet weekend hideaway. |

Blandings has a large double bedroom with a sofa and chairs, a tiled bathroom with bath, shower, toilet, heated towel rail and wash basin .... A wood-burning fire gives additional heat in the winter.
